Hello. I met a man today and had a conversation with him. He expressed feeling lonely and wanting to hang out and maybe do something for Halloween. He offered me liquor and food which I politely - question #19755

declined. I don't really know what to make of him but he seemed a little off. He said he worked with troubled youth in Miami and traveled to my location because he «smokes» (I don't know what) and whatever isn't allowed in his home state he can get away with where I live if I heard him correctly. I honestly didn't understand half of what he said. He asked for my number and I said I didn't have a pen so I went into a store to buy one. The guard at the door asked him a little aggressively/snarkily, «What do you need m'man?» I don't know if he thought he was stalking me or what but he was nice enough to loan his pen and notebook afterward so I could give him my mobile number. After that I went into another nearby store to buy groceries and he said he would wait for me by the door and by the time I was done shopping he was gone.Why did he leave? I don't think I care that much as he was in zero way my type, I just was bored and entertaining him or something and part of me is a little relieved but I am just curious if something about me put him off.
