Can anyone offer insight, guidance, or perspective regarding my children and what the near future may hold for them? My children currently live full-time with their father and stepmother. Over the - question #17755

years, this has been an incredibly difficult situation for both them and me. A few years ago, their father was awarded custody under circumstances that I have always felt were unfair, and navigating that reality has been one of the greatest heartbreaks of my life. Even so, I have worked hard to remain positive, stay true to my values, and approach everything with love, patience, and grace. I firmly believe that when we continue to do the right thing, the truth eventually finds its way to the surface. Recently, I have become increasingly concerned about my children’s emotional well-being. Some of the things I have been hearing from others closely align with concerns my children have shared with me directly. They often tell me they do not like going back home, that they do not feel loved, and that they struggle emotionally in their current environment. As a mother, hearing those things is heartbreaking.I have also been told that their stepmother can be unkind toward them, which only adds to my worries. There is also a spiritual concern that has weighed heavily on my heart. I have been told that their stepmother practices black magic and participates in dark spiritual rituals. While I understand that I cannot verify such claims, I would be dishonest if I said the possibility has not troubled me. At times, I feel as though their father seems emotionally drained, distant, or disconnected in ways that are difficult for me to understand. There are moments when it feels as though something is simply not right, and I cannot ignore the uneasy feeling I have when I look at everything that has unfolded over the years. Lately, I have sensed that circumstances may be shifting. It feels as though things that have remained hidden for a long time are beginning to come to light. I cannot fully explain why I feel this way, but the feeling has been persistent. I have wondered whether there may come a time when their father no longer wishes to carry the responsibility of caring for them full-time, or whether circumstances may eventually allow my children to spend more time with me. More than anything, my greatest wish is for my children to feel safe, loved, supported, protected, and valued. I continue to keep hope in my heart, pray for their well-being, send them love from a distance, and do everything within my power to support them. I trust that whatever unfolds, the truth will ultimately reveal itself and that what is best for my children will prevail. For reference, here are my children’s names and birthdays, listed from oldest to youngest: Cherish — October 3, 2011 Jerron — September 16, 2017 Brennin — January 1, 2020 Annalise — February 14, 2021 Their father is Ron, born December 7, 1988. His wife is Jessica, though I do not know her birthdate. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and offer guidance, insight, prayers, or positive thoughts.

If it's possible for the children to stay with you ,let them stay with you, that's the best decision in this situation. The longer they stay with you ,the safer they'll be. And don't let them stay there with your ex- husband and stepmother. You can work out the custody arrangements, and this can be done with your ex -husband's consent later on.
